Academic Year 2018-2019

This academic year has been concluded successfully, with tuition to students of all levels. Current students included those preparing for GCSE AQA and International Baccalaureate, AQA AS and A2 levels, students preparing for their studies at Birbeck College London, students picking up from the studies they have done recently, or in their youth,  students preparing for their holidays, their walks in Spain and Latin America, preparing for their retirement plans, or for personal development.

Our teaching using ELE courses is complemented by other materials such as language magazines with amazing cultural journeys, also audios, and online resources that are free and ready for us to use.

This academic year, tuition was offered at BT Adastral Park, as usual. The students have been enjoying Spanish courses for over 10 years, using their modern facilities. These courses are ideal to rest from work, to be sociable, and move from the sciences to the arts where students have shown to shine equally with their enthusiasm and commitment, applying the same discipline in their learning of the language.

All students were recommended materials to keep their Spanish going over the Summer break, but many students are lucky enough to use their language skills on holiday in Spain and Latin America.

Private tuition has been a big part of our teaching during the present academic year. Student’s feedback pointed out the fact that their teaching focused on giving them a skill for life and not just to pass their exams. The majority of students now travel extensively in their lives and we are very pleased that we can contribute to them being proficient not only in their travels, but also for use of the language in future jobs.

We are waiting for the GCSE, AS and A2 Spanish results that are published in August, and are looking forward to finding out the results of students that were taught by us, or had extra support with us; hoping they have achieved the grades they wanted for University entrance, or in the case of GCSE students taking the language to advanced level.

Enrolment will start in August for the Academic year 2019-2020, and lessons will start in the week commencing 09 September 2019.

Online teaching is available for students wishing to enrol and do the lessons from home, in England or abroad. Some of our students that have moved to Spain or Latin America continue to have lessons by Skype or Facetime.

We aim to help students to achieve their dream of speaking Spanish, and always look forward to the pleasure of finally listening to them in their second language.
