This academic year has been concluded successfully, with the transition to teaching exclusively private tuition to students of all levels.
Current students included students preparing for GCSE, AS and A2 levels, students preparing for their studies at Birbeck College London, students picking up from the studies they have done recently, or in their youth.
Private tuition was offered at BT Adastral Park where students have been enjoying Spanish courses for over 10 years, using their modern facilities of a big screen to project lessons, these courses are ideal to rest from work, to be sociable, and go from the sciences to the arts where students have shown to shine equally with their enthusiasm and commitment, applying the same discipline to their learning of the language.
Private tuition students are offered, as far as possible, the highest and most modern technology and the latest and a good variety of materials to improve their skills, depending on the qualification they are studying at school, university or home.
In the academic year 2017-18 we will continue to offer these courses. Please see the enrolment forms for more information.
For the long summer break, students were recommended materials to keep their Spanish going, but many students were lucky enough to use their language skills on holiday in Spain and Latin America.
As usual, we are waiting for the GCSE, AS and A2 Spanish results that are published in August. We are looking forward to finding out the results of students that had extra support with us; hoping they have achieved the grades they wanted for University entrance, or in the case of GCSE students for taking the language to advanced level.
Private tuition has been a big part of our teaching during the present academic year. Student’s feedback pointed out the fact that their teaching focused on giving them a skill for life and not only to pass their exams. The majority of students now travel extensively in their lives and we are very pleased that we can contribute to them being proficient not only in their travels, but also for use of the language in future jobs.
Enrolment will start in August for the Academic year 2017-2018, and lessons will start in the week commencing 11th September 2017.
